James Ruck

James Ruck, age 76, of Rosendale, passed away Friday, April 25, 2003, at his home.
James was born April 23, 1927, in Milwaukee, a son to Edward and Ella (Mock) Ruck. He was educated in Milwaukee and later joined the U.S. Army where he earned the American Theater Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Theater Medal. On November 24, 1965, he married Florence (Brandt) Bauschek. Florence truly was the love of his life and he was deeply devoted to her. James was employed in heavy construction in California for many years before moving to Rosendale in 1993. He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include a step-son, Barry (Eve) Bauschek of Appleton; One brother, Herman (Rosalie) Ruck of Dousman, WI; Two step grandchildren, Aime and Matthew, and two nephews, Philip and Harvey. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Florence, two brothers and one sister.
Services will be Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at 3:00 p.m. with visitation from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service, all at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Rev. David A. Busker will officiate. A memorial has been established.
