James Timmons

James G. Timmons, age 55, of Ripon, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2009, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon, WI.

James was born on February 6, 1954, in Ripon, the son of Jack and Corinne (Crump) Timmons. He graduated from Ripon High School and then went to UW Oshkosh for two years, UW La Crosse for one year, and then to WWTI-Journeymen Electrician Technical School, most recently employed as an electrician at Seneca Foods. On July 3, 1977, James married Mary Lee Ender in Onalaska, WI. James was a past member of Berlin Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed trap shooting, bowling, and shooting pool. He also enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife, Mary Lee.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee; two sons, Jason (Melissa) Timmons of Oshkosh, WI and Jacob Timmons of New York, NY; three brothers, Lynn Timmons, Jeffery (Joy) Timmons, and Terry (friend Penny) Timmons; two brothers-in-law, John (Sharon) Ender of Eau Claire, WI and Steve (Peggy) Ender of Wausau, WI; one sister-in-law, Patty Jo Ender of Black River Falls, WI; and many nieces and nephews. James is preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Ann Timmons; his parents; and one sister-in-law, Paula Ender.

Visitation for James Timmons will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010, from 1 – 4:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, 515 Mayparty Drive Ripon, WI 54971. Per James’ wishes there will be no memorial service. A memorial has been established in his name.
