Jan H. Miller

Jan H. Miller, age 77, of Ripon, WI passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 at home.

Jan was born on February 12, 1947, son of Harvey and Romaine (Timm) Miller. He graduated from Ripon High School class of ’65, and then served with the Wisconsin Army National Guard. Jan worked as a healthcare technician at Winnebago Mental Health for over 40 years. Later in life he reconnected with his friend from high school, Carol Prellwitz. They shared seven years together and he loved spending time with and spoiling all the grandchildren. Jan enjoyed motorcycles and was a member of the Aces Motorcycle Club of Oshkosh. He also liked NASCAR, fishing, and visiting with friends.

Jan is survived by his son, Tyler Spillane; his very special friend, Carol Prellwitz; special family, Gene (Carrie Jo), Brittni (Rick), Alexa (Danny), Maisie (Kasey), Jennifer (Christopher), Jamie (John), Reed, Bennett, and Harper; and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Romaine Miller; and a sister, Roxanne.

Visitation for Jan will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971. A final salute with full military honors will follow at the funeral home at 3:15 pm.

Inurnment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh, WI at a later date.
