Jane Shea Barclay, aged 74, passed peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Jane was born to Pat and Phil Shea of Elo/Pickett, Wisconsin. Jane attended Ripon High School followed by attendance at Mercy Medical Nursing School, Oshkosh, WI where she received her RN degree.
Jane served in the Civil Air Patrol as a First Lieutenant, Transport Pilot and medical officer. She was also involved in the Green Lake Festival of Music, Paine Art Center, Wisconsin Bike Race Organization, member of Toastmasters International, Ripon Library Association, Ripon Study Club, and an active Docent at the EAA Museum. She reserved a special place in her life as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a licensed pilot, a Nationally-published and award-winning photographer. Jane was blessed with boundless energy, generosity of spirit and a love for all people, her family, friends and adventure. Her other interests and passions included travel, cooking and entertaining.
Jane is survived in life by her loving husband Alexander Barclay, her children Ward Bumby; Elizabeth (Libby Bumby) & Tim Lailer and children; Kathryn (Katie Bumby) Radi and children; Barbara Jean (Barclay) Tozser and children; Gavin Barclay and children; David Barclay, and Jennifer Barclay. Janes siblings include Cathy (Shea) Puhl, Michael Shea, Thomas Shea, and Ann (Shea) Trembly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016, from 4pm to 7pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive in Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. Vincent Church, 1225 Oregon Street in Oshkosh at 9am with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10am.
