Jane Leslie Towne, age 19, of Ripon, WI, died Saturday, April 9, 1988 as a result of an accident in Green Lake County.
She was born February 19, 1969, in Ripon to Glenn and Catherine (Rohlfs) Towne. She was a student at Ripon Senior High School and a member of the softball team. Ms. Towne was employed at Best Western Welcome Inn in Ripon.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Towne; two brothers, John of Ripon and twin brother, Jay of Ripon; four sisters, Jean Denbrook of Orlando, FL, Jeanette of Ripon, Joan of Ripon and Janel of Ripon. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Towne in 1979; paternal grandparents, Leslie and Ethel Towne and maternal grandparents, Arnold “Butch” and Mildred Rohlfs.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 1988 from 2:30 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 1988, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate. Interment will take place at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale.
