Janet Cleland, 72, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 while surrounded by her loving family.
Janet was born September 10, 1934 the daughter of Lloyd and Mabel (Thiede) Mulvey in Oshkosh, WI. On August 21, 1954 she married the love of her life, Irvin Gilbert Cleland Sr., at St. Peters Church in Oshkosh. Janet was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Irvin Cleland Sr. of Fond du Lac, four sons; Brian (Terri), Allan (Peggy), Danny (Dawn), and Irvin (Christina) Cleland Jr., three daughters; Brenda (Don) Klahn, Cindy (Bruce) Leestma, and Becky (Steve Ferry) Cleland. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, her foster family; Viola, Bob, and Michael O’Rielly, and her sister, Shirley.
Visitation for Janet Cleland will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2007 from 9:00-10:00AM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Services for Janet Cleland will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 10:00AM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Father William Whalen officiating. Interment will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery, Fond du Lac. A Memorial has been established.
