Janice Briese

Janice Margaret Briese, age 57, of Fairwater, WI, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac with her family by her side.

Janice was born December 3, 1956, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Walter and Esther (Strom) Brotkowski. She graduated from high school and on February 11, 1978, Janice married Ronald Briese in Kingston. Janice was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers, her pool, watching birds and other wildlife but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Ronald Briese of Fairwater, WI; two sons, Josh (Andrea) Briese of Oshkosh, WI and Ryan (Molly) Briese of Windsor, WI; two grandchildren, Paige and Alex Briese of Oshkosh, WI; two sisters, Judy (Bob) Schneider of Milwaukee, WI and JoAnn (Steve) Poulos of Chicago, IL; brother, John (special friend, Barbara Bodam) Moore of Chicago, IL and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Janice will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014, from 1- 3:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral service for Janice will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014, at 3:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Donald Deike will officiate. Interment will follow at Fairwater Cemetery in the Village of Fairwater. A memorial is being established in her name.
