Janice Moderow

June 17, 1943 — November 23, 1996

Janice Moderow, 53, of Ripon, died Saturday, November 23, 1996, at Michalene‘s in Ripon , after she had endured a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Janice was burn June 17, 1 943, in Ripon , the daughter of Herbert F. and Mabel (Jahns) Moderow. She lived in Ripon all of her life, and was a lifelong member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon Janice attended Loper Grade School and graduated from Ripon High School.

She worked for many years as a receptionist and secretary for Dr. Bob Cotter at the Ripon Veterinary Clinic. Alter Dr. Cotter’s retirement, she worked for the Associated Veterinary Clinic. Janice was also secretary for Loper Cemetery. Janice enjoyed living on the farm, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her mother Mabel; one sister—in—law. Lillian (Tom) Putzer of Ripon; one niece, Vicki (John) Horns and their children, Kent, Kyle (Janice’s Godchild) and Casey of Ripon one nephew, Joe (Linda) Putzer and their children, Amanda, Ashley, Matthew and Kayla; and three aunts, Laura Lenz of Markesan,
Lucille Jahns of Markesan and Ruby Moderow of Ripon. She is further survived by cousins, and special friends, Barb Hoffman, Cheryl Dixon, Tracie Radtke and Tina Feurbach. She was preceded in death by her father, l brother, Ronald, and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Monday. November 25, 1996 at 6:30 P.M. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with the Rev. Eric Burnard officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 5 P.M. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will he in Loper Cemetery, in the Town of Ripon.
