Janice Nelson, age 46, of Montello, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011, with her family by her side.
Janice was born on October 3, 1964, the daughter of Lloyd and Harriet (Dehn) Fredrick. She graduated from Montello High School and was a supervisor for Diverse Options in Montello. Janice enjoyed being with her son, spending time outdoors, watching sunrises and cutting wood. She collected Breyer Horse statues and loved horses even though she never had one.
Survivors include her son, Jacob of Montello, WI; sister, Cynthia (James) Guthire; cousin, Doris Dehn and aunts, uncles, cousins and a special thanks is given to numerous loving friends, Vickie and Charlie Wielgosh, Jamie and Heidi Stelter, Ned Ratazcak and Brenda Larson and family, Keri, Scott and Jenna Simacek, Angie and Tim Glynn, Debbie and Andy Black, Steve and Dawn Mabrey, Karen and Samantha Hernandez, caring neighbors, the Chicago Cops and their wives and a community willing to go the distance to help a family in need. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Visitation for Janice Nelson will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011, from 10 – 11:00 am at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, "Big Mecan", W1568 Evergreen Lane, Montello, WI 53949.
Memorial Service for Janice Nelson will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at 11:00 am at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, "Big Mecan", Montello. Pastor R.F. Westendorf will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Montello. Memorials may be given to The Humane Society of United States, 2100 L. St. NW, Washington DC, 20037 or Salvation Army, 237 N. Macy St. Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
