Jason A. Keeler, age 44, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, with his loving family by his side.
Jason was born March 30, 1970, in Ripon, the son of Rick and Diane (Klaver) Keeler. He attended Green Lake High School. In 2000, Jason was united in marriage to Tammi Van Ornum on St. Thomas, in the Virgin Islands. To all those who knew Jason, they will remember him for his mechanical expertise. He was employed by several places over the years working as a mechanic, but the last two years he enjoyed his time working as a Machine Operator at Ripon Printers. There was no engine that was too small or too large, he was up for the challenge and did so with great pride and joy. He was always happiest when his hands were greasy. To Jason, his family came first. He especially loved spending time with his wife and daughters. He also had a special place in his heart for his dogs; Diesel, Petro, and Vin. Jason’s special past time was smoking meat and brewing his own beer.
Survivors include his wife, Tammi, Ripon, WI; daughters: Ashlee Featherston, Ripon, WI, Alexis Keeler, Ripon, WI, London Keeler, Ripon, WI, and Sofiya Keeler, Ripon, WI; mother, Diane Keeler, Ripon, WI; brother, Owen (Karin) Keeler, Ripon, WI; sister-in-law, Renee (Loren) Schwartz, Ripon, WI; mother-in-law, Yvonne Van Ornum (special friend Don), Ripon, WI; father-in-law, Donald (Debbie) Van Ornum, Berlin, WI; grandson, Elijah Featherston, Ripon, WI. He is further survived by grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Al and Roanne Klaver; uncle, Ted Klaver; and a great-aunt, Crystal McConnel.
Visitation for Jason Keeler will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, from 11:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Butzin- Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI, 54971.
Memorial Service for Jason Keeler will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Pastor Joshua D. Pegram will officiate. A private family inurnment will be held at Dartford Cemetery. A memorial is being established.
