Jayne Bumby

Jayne Ninneman Bumby, 68, of Marana, Arizona passed away on February 20, 2015 at home with her husband and children at her side after a 5-month journey with cancer.
Jayne was born November 18th, 1946 in Ripon, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Lucille Ninneman. She was a graduate of Ripon High School, class of 1965 and attended University of Wisconsin - Whitewater for one year of study. She was a member of The Church of Our Lady of the Desert, the Redemptorist Renewal Center in Tucson, Arizona.
She married her high school sweetheart, Edward W. Bumby on September 3rd, 1966. Jayne’s five children and four grandchildren were her main focus in her life, first and foremost. She had a love and talent for interior design and was always decorating and redecorating her homes; fresh flowers were her favorite accessories.
She also spent many years working out in the gym, dedicated to her fitness and rarely, if ever, missed a day. She loved the outdoors and she and her husband, Ed spent almost every weekend hiking in the mountains surrounding Tucson. To say that Jayne was an active person would be an understatement.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Lucille Ninneman of Ripon, WI. Her father passed away when Jayne was three, and her mother when she was thirteen. Her brother William Ninneman of Ripon, WI and guardian parents, Marge and Karl Luetke of Ripon, WI, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Ed Bumby of Marana (formerly Ripon, WI), her sister Nancy Jonas (Jack) Ripon, WI, son Cris Bumby (Kay) of Ripon, WI, daughter Maggie Twomey (William) of Flagstaff, AZ, daughter Sarah Anderson (Doug) of Highlands Ranch, CO, daughter Emily Turner (Craig) of Costa Mesa, CA, and daughter Ann Bumby (Darryl Mimick) of Santa Barbara, CA. Surviving grandchildren include Alli Bumby of Ripon, WI, Claire Twomey and Nixon Twomey of Flagstaff, AZ, Warren Anderson of Highlands Ranch, CO, and faithful Portuguese Water Dog, Carl.
Visitation for Jayne will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, from 10 – 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 218 Blossom St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial Mass for Jayne will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Jayne has requested donations be made to a cause dear to her heart, Casa de los Niños. Casa provides social services to abused and neglected children in Tucson, AZ: http://www.casadelosninos.org .
