Jean Watson, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Maplecrest in Ripon.
Jean was born March 31, 1930, in Oregon, the daughter of Morris and Stella (Steiber) Shadduck. She worked as a manager at Super Value, Prescotts and Pick n Save grocery stores and was also a homemaker. She was a member of the League of Women Voters. She traveled with Father Wally to help in Panama. Jean was a clogger and a tap dancer and loved to dance in general. She enjoyed word puzzles and playing games. Jean was a great camp cook who loved the outdoors. She was an avid Packers fan. Jean was a very positive person who always put everyone else before her. Most of all Jean loved life, loved to laugh and loved her family.
Survivors include four children, Roland Watson of Oshkosh, WI, Teresa (RD) Duzinske of Ripon, WI, Allan (Diane) Watson of Sacramento, CA and Clari (Rory) Hasselquist of Wild Rose, WI; seven grandchildren, Gregory (Katy) Duzinske, Brenna Sammons, Nate, Emily, Erika, Broc and Terry Watson; great-grandchildren, Nora, Dominic, Eddie, Justine, Tristan; daughter-in-law, Sandy Hoa and many nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, son, David James Watson, sister, Betty and brothers, Jim and John.
Per Jeans wishes there will be no service. Inurnment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park & Mausoleum in Oshkosh at a later date. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
