Jeanette Eleanor Mueller, age 70, of Ripon, passed away Sunday, August 29, 1999, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born November 8, 1928, in Oshkosh, to William and Bessie (Bartels) Butzlaff. She graduated from Oshkosh High School, and later married Kenneth Mueller on April 24, 1948. Jeanie and Ken farmed in the Ripon area until their retirement. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon and past President of the Ladies Guild, past leader with the Happy Helpers 4~H Club and past President of the VFW Auxiliary. Jeanie also served on many turkey dinners.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ken; 4 children, Vicki (Allan) Burr, Jeffery (Sandy) Mueller, DeWayne Mueller, and Pamela Mueller; 4 grandsons, Kenneth, Michael, Robert and Matthew Mueller; 2 step.granddaughters, Pamala (Randy) Dykstra and Renee (Rick) Nighbor. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kody, Christopher, Kasey and Aaron. She is further survived by 3 sisters, Ruth Milner, Delores (Russ) Swenson and Juanita Becker; 2 brothers, William (Betty) Butzlaff and Robert (Barb) Butzlaff; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, 3 brothers, 1 grandson and 1 great-grandson.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, August 31, 1999, from 4 until 7:30 PM, with a VFW Auxiliary Service at 7:30 PM, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Friends may also call on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept 1, 1999, at 10:30 AM at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ with the Rev. James D. Mohr officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Memorials may be given to the Elevator Fund at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ.
