Jeanette Pfennig, 74, of 511 Union St., Ripon, died Thursday, September 21, 1995 at Michalenes in Ripon where she had lived the past 3 weeks.
She was born July 11, 1921 in Ripon, a daughter of the late Robert H. and Margaret (Redeman) Grasee. She was a graduate of Ripon High School. On July 25, 1950, she married Robert Pfennig and he passed away on October 17, 1981. Jeanette was a housewife, and a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon and the Ripon Womens Club.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Paulette (Robert) Kornmann of Menomonee Falls and Roberta (Patrick) Sweeney of New Orleans; 1 stepdaughter, Elaine (Roy) Meyer of Lomira; 4 grandchildren, Michael Kornmann of Charlottesville, VA, Mark (Karen) Kornmann of Amery, Janelle and Dustin Clark, both of New Orleans; 2 step-grandchildren, Gerald (Cheryl) Meyer of Brownsville and Ron (Mary) Meyer of Plymouth; along with 1 brother, Robert D. (Fran) Gransee of Ripon, and 1 sister, Marge (Don) Reinsch of Neshkoro. She was preceded in death by her husband and 1 sister, Olive Pause.
A memorial service for the late Jeanette Pfennig will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, September 24, 1995, at Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon, with the Reverend James D. Mohr officiating. Cremation will take place. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 P.M. until the time of the memorial service at the church.
