Jeanette C Wilkes

Jeanette C. (Bushweiler) Wilkes, age 96, of Ripon, WI passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Prairie Place in Ripon.

Jeanette was born in Wautoma, WI, daughter of Willard and Lena Bushweiler. She moved to Rush Lake/Ripon as a young girl and graduated from Ripon High School in 1944. She worked at the Advertisers and from there as a beauty operator at Suzanne's Beauty Salon.

Jeanette married the love of her life, Frederick Wilkes on October 4, 1947 and they spent 72 wonderful years together. She helped Fred with all his business ventures and was a wonderful mom to their two children.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred; her parents, Willard and Lena Bushweiler; and a brother, Harold Bushweiler. Jeanette leaves behind her daughter, Jean (John) Ridgway of Crossville, TN; and her son, Thomas (Sherry) Wilkes of Henderson, NV.

Jeanette was an angel in life and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation for Jeanette will be held from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral service for Jeanette will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Rev. Dr. Kevin P. Mundell officiating. A private family interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial is being established in her name.
