Jeanne Deike, age 60, of Ripon was called to her eternal home on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in the comfort of her home and family.
Jeanne was born November 20, 1951 to Louis and Helen (Long) Miller in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She graduated from Weyewega High School in 1969. Jeanne married Donald Deike March 25, 1972 in Waupaca, Wisconsin. She was a loving pastor’s wife, mother, and grandmother. Jeanne was employed at Community Health Network’s Ripon Clinic. She also loved working with children and provided childcare for some dear families in Ripon over the years. She was a member of Hillside Assembly in Ripon. Jeanne served as assistant director, then director of the Missionette Girls Program of the Wisconsin-Northern Michigan District of the Assemblies of God.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, Reverend Donald Deike; one son: Gregory (Paula) Deike of Ripon, WI; three daughters, Keri (Aric) Roeller of Granite Falls, MN, Dawn (Sam) Wisneski of Brooklyn, NY, and Amy (Rob) Smith of Lakeland, FL; Six grandchildren, Cassie Deike, Dustin Deike, Malachi Wisneski, Raef Roeller, Ella Smith and Lucas Wisneski; mother Helen Miller of Waupaca and father-in-law Henry Deike of Willmar, MN; three brothers, Gerard (Joyce) Miller of Waupaca, James (Joanna) Miller of Neenah and Jeffrey (Trish) Miller of Waupaca; one sister, Sandra (Fred) Yaekel of Waupaca; two brother-in-laws: Ronald (Elsa) Deike of Suffolk, VA and Daniel (Jennie) Deike of Pennock, MN; six sister-in-laws: Diane (Randy) Sather of Willmar, MN, Donna (Mark) Lunsford of Bremerton, WA, Denise (Gayle) Svennes of Sioux Falls, SD, Renee (Dale) Heimdal of Waconia, MN, Colleen (Dan) Arvola of Virginia, MN, Lisa (Kevin) Knutson of Kalamazoo, MI. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and countless, wonderful friends. Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Louis Miller and Mother-in-law Delores Deike.
Visitation for Jeanne Deike will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012, at Hillside Assembly, 656 W. Oshkosh St, Ripon, WI 54971, from 5- 8:00 pm, and again on Saturday, February 4, 2012, from 9 -11:00 am.
Funeral services for Jeanne Deike will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 11:00 am at Hillside Assembly in Ripon. Rev. Larry Liebe will officiate. Interment will be at Spencer Lake Memorial Park in rural Waupaca, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hillside Assembly for the orphanage in Los Angeles, Nicaragua.
