Jeannette Baird Billings, age 93, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 1986, at her home.
Jeannette was born December 24, 1892, in Portage, WI, the daughter of James and Jessie (Shanks) Baird. She graduated from high school in Portage and went on to further her career at UW Madison. On May 13, 1916, Jeannette married Dana W. Billings. She worked as a homemaker. Jeannette was a member of the First Congregational Church in Ripon, the Ripon Educational Club, Dartford Education Club of Green Lake and a Charter member of the Ripon Women’s Club.
Survivors include her son, Dana Baird Billings; daughter, Susanne Reichmuth; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 5, 1968.
Funeral Service for Jeannette will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 1986, at 1:00 pm at the First Congregational Church with Reverend Allan Martling officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. Memorials may be directed to the Congregational Church or Charity of your choice.
