Jeffrey A. “Jeff” Beregszazi, age 56, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born August 10, 1957, in Oshkosh, the son of Louis and Vittoria (Colamonici) Beregszazi. Jeff attended college at Madison Area Technical College, where he studied Forestry. On March 1, 2000, he was united in marriage to Jeanna Pudrowski in Ochos Rios, Jamaica. Jeff loved wildlife and had a strong bond with the earth. Jeff had a love for the outdoors, and he enjoyed working as a farmer for Gizmo Farms. He had a passion for gardening. Axel and Bailey, his German Shorthairs, were always at his side. He could tell stories of life events with such a sense of humor that everyone enjoyed his company. He enjoyed fishing and pheasant hunting. The Beregszazi home was the gathering place for family and friends for bonfires, Fisk fireworks, and just anytime people wanted to stop by.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jeanna Beregszazi, Oshkosh, WI; daughter, Caroline (Zeke) Beregszazi, Oshkosh, WI; brother, Julius (Gloria) Beregszazi, Oshkosh, WI; sister, Darlene (Bob) Lawler, Marinette, WI; brother, Tony (Barb) Beregszazi, Fond du Lac, WI; brother, Bob (Debbie) Beregszazi, Oshkosh, WI; nephew, Richard (Jenny) Beregszazi, Oshkosh, WI; niece, Michelle (Rick) Klug, Oshkosh, WI; niece, Tricia (Steve) Beaudo, Marinette, WI; niece, Traci (Jeff) Paris, Peshtigo, WI; nephew, Danny Beregszazi, Oshkosh, WI; granddaughter, Chesnee Thamos, Oshkosh, WI; grandson, Wyatt Thamos, Oshkosh, WI; special friends, Sue (Bob) Mc Credie, Omro, WI, Kathy (Les) Wheelock, Redgranite, WI, Jim (Peg) Potratz, Oshkosh, WI, Bob (Marilyn) Potratz, Oshkosh, WI, Jeff (Ruth) Reiter, Oshkosh, WI, Rich Schmunk, Oshkosh, WI, Marty (Judy) Hartman, Oshkosh, WI, Theresa ( Jim) Hopp, Neshkoro, WI, Jeff (Kathy) Olsen, Oshkosh, WI, and Krista (Jamie, Hydie) Sebold, Oshkosh, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Vittoria, and a brother, Roger.
In lieu of a memorial service, Jeanna will host a celebration of Jeff’s life at their home beginning the afternoon of July 3, 2014. Friends and family are invited to reminisce and enjoy a bonfire and the evening Fisk Fireworks.
