Jessie E. Grahn, age 84, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Monday, July 27, 1992, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 21, 1907, in West Lima, WI, to James and Edith Hoffman Booher. She was educated in Viola, WI. She married Christian Grahn on March 22, 1930. He preceded her in death on November 27, 1986. Mrs. Grahn has resided in Green Lake since 1943 and was a member of the Federated Church of Green Lake. She was a seamstress at the Ripon Knitting works for 16 years.
She is survived by four sons, Reuben (Mary Ellen) of Ripon, Aubrey Speed (Mary Fay) of E. Dubuque, IL; Wayne (Barbara) of Ripon and Larry (Gloria) of Green Lake; three daughters, Darlene (Robert) Pick of Berlin, Christine Grahn of Green Lake Cheryl (Dean) Berglund of Wild Rose; nineteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren; one brother, George (Lena) Booher of Beaver Dam, and many nieces and nephews. Her husband precede her in death along with two brothers.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Grahn will be hled Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Federated Church of Green Lake. The Reverend Kent A. Meyer will officiate. Interment will be in the Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A memorial has been established in her name.
