Jessie D. Kinzel, 82, a resident of the American House, 230 Watson St. Ripon, WI, died Thursday, October 6, 1994, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born January 16, 1912, in Sioux Falls, SD, a daughter to the late James and Mary Clark Donnan. She was educated in Redgranite. Jessie married Arthur H. Kinzel on August 8, 1931, and they made their home in Ripon. She worked as a clerk at Chipman’s Department Store in Ripon for 20 years, at Schultz Bros. Variety Store for 5 years, and at the Skogmo Store for 2 years. Jessie was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Kay (Parnell) Staven of Milwaukee; one son, Arthur (Audrey) Kinzel, Jr. of Columbia, GA; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a sister, Marie Ryerson of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her husband on October 8, 1976, one daughter, Donna Jean and four brothers, William, James, Robert and Douglas Donnan.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Kinzel will be held Thursday, October 13, 1994, at 2 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Debbie Rosa-Meyer will officiate. Interment will be in Garden of the Cross Cemetery, Ripon.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established in her name for Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ.
