Jessie Schattschneider, age 92, of Green Lake, died Sunday, December 5, 1999, at Ripon Medical Center.

She was born October 29, 1907, in the Town of Brooklyn, a daughter to William and Jennie (Wilson) Parker. She graduated from Green Lake High School, and on May 31, 1929, she married LeRoy Schattschneider. Jessie was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Ripon, the Waupun Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and was former past Matron of the Green Lake Chapter, and a member of the Friday Club of Green Lake. She had lived in Green Lake all of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Beuthin of Green Lake; 4 grandchildren, Debra (Douglas) Moats of Norfolk, NB, Donald Beuthin of Racine, Kenneth Beuthin of Green Lake and Mary (Jeff) Moyle of Ripon; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; 1 sister, Genevieve Parker; 1 granddaughter; and 1 son-in-law, Darwin Beuthin.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 8, 1999, at 11 AM at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Ripon, with Father John Paul Westin officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 7, 1999, from 4-7 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, and again on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. Memorials will be given to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in her name.
