Jill Chatterson

July 21, 1958 — December 16, 2008

Jill Suzanne (Cartier) Chatterson, age 50, of Ripon, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at her home after a long battle with cancer.

Jill was born in Green Bay, WI on July 21, 1958, the daughter of Kenneth and Barbara (Anunson) Cartier. She graduated from Ripon High School and went on to graduate from Lake Forest College, and received her teaching degree from U.W. Oshkosh. Jill was an Elementary School teacher and on October 17th, 1981 she married Gregory L. Chatterson at the First Congregational Church in Ripon. She was a member of the study club in Ripon, and the First Congregational Church in Ripon.

Survivors include her husband, Gregory Chatterson of Ripon; one son, Patrick Chatterson of Ripon; her parents, Ken and Bobbie Cartier of Ripon; two brothers, Kerry (Jennifer) Cartier, and Joel (Mary Jo) Cartier; nephew, Chad; nieces, Amy, Katrina, Jacquelin and Amii; mother-in-law, Maxine Chatterson of Beaver Dam; sister-in-law, Deborah (John) Prasch of Wild Rose, and their children, Luke, Jennifer, and Sarah, along with other nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and many other important relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father-in-law, anut Jane and uncle Emmett Anderson.

A Memorial service for Jill Chatterson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at the First Congregational Church in Ripon with Reverend Jack Kraaz officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being setup for yet to be determined community projects.

The family is grateful for the overwhelming support of friends and community.
