Jim J. Reyes, age 36, of Kaukauna, WI died Monday morning, September 18, 2000, at home.
He was born September 27, 1963, in Waupun, a son to Jean and Joe Reyes. He received his education in Markesan. Jim has lived his life in Wisconsin. For the past 6 years he had worked for Wausau Mosinee Paper Corp. in Appleton as a machine operator and was chairman of the safety committee.
Survivors include his mother, Jean Reyes; five sisters, Sue Snyder (Brent) of Markesan, Rosemary Pollock (Russel) of Brandon, Jean Kirst (Rusty) of Markesan, Julie Holmes (Jon) of Waukesha and Judy Holmes of San Jose, CA; two brothers, Joe Reyes (Sue) of Livermore, CA and Richard Reyes (Megan) of Remington, IN; 22 nieces and nephews. Also many friends including Roy Syring, Mike Clark, and Steve Lewis. Special thanks to Rose Wendt and staff at Theda Care. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Reyes, brother, John Reyes, nephew, Jason Reyes and aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 20, 2000, from 4 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 21, 2000, at 1 pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Fairwater with Pastor Tom Meyer officiating. A memorial has been established.
