Mrs. Joan B. Kerl, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 1990, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 22, 1912, in Custer, WI, a daughter to John and Anna (Witkowski) Armotoski. On May 25, 1946, she married Helmuth Kerl in Berlin. Mrs. Kerl was educated in Polonia. She had resided in Ripon the last twenty-two years, and prior to that time in Berlin. She was a housewife and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon and the Sodality of the Church.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Richard (Kathy) Kerl of Racine; two daughters, Mrs. James (Lorraine) Paulissen M.D. of W. Chicago, IL and Mrs. Victor (Patricia) Hess of Ripon; eight grandchildren, and one brother, Edward Armotoski of Milwaukee. Three sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call Sunday from 5 until 8:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon where a Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m., at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon. The Reverend John A. Schmitz will officiate. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Town of Ripon. A memorial in her name has been established for St. Patrick Catholic Church.
