Joan Louise Steward, 52, of 809 8th St, Baraboo, former resident of Green Lake for 6 years, died June 6, 1995, at St Clare Hospital in Baraboo.
She was born August 10, 1942 in Milwaukee the daughter of James and Lorraine Wartchow Haut. Joan was educated in the Milwaukee School System. On July 18, 1964, she married Kenneth Steward in Milwaukee, and for the last 6 years they have owned and operated the Spinning Wheel Motel in Baraboo.
Joan is survived by her husband, Kenneth; 1 daughter, Laura (Tim) Fude of Hor icon; 1 grandson, Nick Fude; her mother, Lorraine Haut of Milwaukee; 2 brothers, Ron Haut of Yuma, AZ and Ken Haut of Elko, NV and 1 sister, Judy Schmechel of Germantown. Her father preceded her in death.
Funeral services for the late Joan Steward will be at 2 P.M. Friday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. The Reverend John N. Bixby, Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Garden of the Cross Cemetery, Ripon.
