Joanne Blake, age 64 of Green Lake, died Sunday, July 28, 1996, at Juliette Manor Nursing Home in Berlin.
She was born May 19, 1932, in Waukesha, the daughter of Norbert and Lorraine (Coleman) Pitsch. She was educated in Waukesha. On September 15, 1984, she married Roy “Chuck” Blake. Joanne was an apartment building manager and homemaker, and had lived in Rosendale prior to moving to Green Lake 15 years ago. She had also cleaned at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She is survived by her husband Chuck; 6 daughters, Terry Wilcox of Columbus, Jacqueline(Dale) Wilcox Schraufnagel of Ripon, Colleen (Paul) Wilcox Deaver of Fox Lake, Sue(Joe) Wilcox Happel of Beaver Dam, Carol (Randy) Garrett Kasuboski of Markesan and Sherri (John) Garrett Snyder; 14 grandchildren; 1 brother, Norbert (Jennie) Pitsch of San Bruno, CA; and 2 sisters, Viola (Frank) Stout of Aurora, CO and Violet (George)
Tolnitz of Santa Ana, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 son, Jon Garrett.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, August 1, 1996, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waupun.
