Joanne L. Hoffmann-Griego, 60, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on June 29, 1994, at her home in Albuquerque, NM.
She was born August 5, 1933, in Fond du Lac, WI, the daughter of William J. and Marcella (Bluemke) Hoffmann. She was educated in Green Lake and Madison and was employed at the Albuquerque Journal. She had lived in Albuquerque for the last 21 years.
She is survived by her mother, Marcella Bluemke Hoffmann of Ripon, WI; three brothers and a sister: James R. (Judy) Hoffmann of Atlanta, GA; William D. (Louise) Hoffmann of Elkhorn, WI; Mike (Sydney) Hoffmann of Langley, WA; and Mary J. (Harry) Hinz of Golden, CO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends who loved her and will miss her. She was preceded in death by her father, William Hoffmann and her husband, Mike Griego, Jr.
The memorial service, a celebration of her life, was held Tuesday, July 5, 1994, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with the Reverend James D. Mohr officiating. Inurnment was in the Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale, WI.
