Johanna Krause, age 95, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 1954, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Paul Wilke in Ripon.
Johanna was born November 9, 1858, in Wefelow, Germany, the daughter of Gottlieb and Augustave (Michaels) Buss. On September 26, 1883, she married William Erdmann and after he passed, Johanna married Fred Krause in 1914 in Brandon.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Paul Wilke of Ripon; one son, Emil Erdmann of Reeds Corners; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, her first husband, William Erdmann who passed away in 1912 and her second husband, Fred Krause who passed away in 1934.
Friends may call on Tuesday, October 5, 1954, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Johanna will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 1954, at 2:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon with The Reverend Carl Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will take place at Fairwater Cemetery in the Village of Fairwater.
