John Anton Berger, age 62, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 1956, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
John was born July 5, 1894, in West Bend, WI, the son of Bernard and Elizabeth (Casper) Berger. He married Louise Kirtpatrick. John was a retired harness maker. He was an ardent fisherman and well known along the south shore of Green Lake for his many fine catches.
Survivors include his wife, Louise.
Friends may call on Thursday, July 26, 1956, after 3:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Mass of Christian Burial for John will be held on Friday, July 27, 1956, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake with The Reverend Francis Karwats officiating. Interment will take place at White Chapel Cemetery in Oakland County, MI.
