John James Budzinski, Jr., age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021, at his home with family by his side.
John was born November 20, 1934, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of John and Stella (Krukowski) Budzinski, Sr. He married Angelyn Versnik and after over 40 years of marriage, she passed away in 1997. In 1998, he married Carol J. Conway in Las Vegas, NV. John was a loyal employee of Allen Bradley in Milwaukee for almost 40 years, starting at the age of 18 as a machine operator, from there, working in various positions until retiring as Senior Supervisor. John enjoyed his retirement playing many rounds of golf with his best friend, Tim of New York state and other friends from his Arizona golf course home for 20 years before returning to Wisconsin in 2018. John’s passing created a tremendous void and loss in the lives of those who love him.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Conway of Ripon, WI; daughter, Robin Modrow of Ripon, WI; son, John J. III (Barb) Budzinski of Milwaukee, WI; grandchildren, Katie (Cliff Weinkauf) Modrow of Ripon, WI, Jacob Modrow of Oshkosh, WI, Molly Modrow of Appleton, WI, Tony Loomis of New York, NY, Travis (Meghan) Loomis of Chicago, IL, Julie (Josue) Sanabria of Cudahy, WI and Nathan (Brittany) Budzinski of Greenfield, WI; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Angela, Amelia, Josue, Eva, and John Carlos; brother, Casey (Charlotte) Piwonski of Wisconsin Dells, WI; several nieces and nephews and special friend of the family, Don Loomis of New Berlin, WI. John was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Angelyn (nee Versnik); daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Ed Thaves; parents, John Sr. and Stella Budzinski; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Shirley Piwonski and three sisters, Clara, Sophie and Lucille.
Per John’s wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorial to the family appreciated or to the charity of your choice, in his name.
