John A. Grams (aka Spooky or Twisted Johnny), age 47, of N6949 Hwy 49, Town of Brooklyn, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, at Ripon Medical Center.
He was born October 4, 1956, in Ripon, a son to Arlyn and Roberta (Jones) Grams. He graduated from Green Lake High School, and then owner/operator of John Grams Construction. John lived in Pocatello, Idaho and the Green Lake Area. He married Sharon Griffith on August 11, 1983 in Pocatello, Idaho. John was an assistant troop leader for the Berlin Boy Scouts and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Green Lake; sons, Jacob and Jeremiah at home; sisters, Terry (Lynn) Mathias of Ripon and Judy (David) Bryden of Green Lake; brothers, Tom (Jackie) of Green Lake and Mike of Berlin; grandparents, Alfred (Dorothy) Grams of Ripon; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Arlyn in 2003; 1 daughter, Fawn Marie in June 1984.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Deacon Mills Park, Green Lake. Memorials made be given in Johns name to the Green Lake County Special Olympics and Berlin Boy Scout Troup #632.
