John Hunter

John J. Hunter, age 89, of Green Lake, died Sunday, July 2, 1989, at the Berlin Memorial Hospital, Berlin, WI.

John was born December 2, 1899 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of James and Christine (Stevenson) Hunter. On June 22, 1951, he married Blanch M. Kloonan in Chicago, IL. He was a member of the Green Lake Masonic Lodge, Mascoutin Shrine Club, and the Gary-Roosevelt Lodge #716, Marysville, IN.

John is survived by two nieces, Peggy Simon of Whitefish Bay and May Neubauer of St. Frances, WI. He is preceded in death by his wife, Blanch who passed away in 1978.

Friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 6, 1989 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm at the funeral home, with the Reverend Dwight Bastian officiating. Interment will take place at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee on Friday, July 7, 1989, at 1:00 pm.
