John "Jack" Wallace

John Joseph “Jack” Wallace, Jr., age 93, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Jack was born May 27, 1921, in Berlin, WI, the son of John and Clara (Saurbriet) Wallace, Sr. He attended Berlin Schools and when he was 21 years old went to serve our country in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1946. Jack married Blanche Campion who passed in 1989, and then married Doris Blank on February 2, 1991. Jack worked as a tool and die maker for Speed Queen for 38 years. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church on Blossom St., V.F. W and American Legion. Jack worked hard all of his life for his family.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Wallace of Ripon, WI; two sons, Robert Wallace of Howards Grove, WI and William (Martha) Wallace in Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Barbara Hollar of Texas; stepson, Thomas (Dorothy) Soda of Ripon, WI; four grandchildren, Rachel Curtis, Sarah and Allison Hollar and Tyler Wallace; three step-grandchildren and three sisters, Betty Szczepanski of Berlin, WI, Gloria Gudex of Ripon, WI and Leone Hess of California. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Blanche; two brothers Alvin and Earl Wallace and two sisters, Hazel Burke and Dorothy Fuller.
Private family visitation for Jack will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Private family Liturgy of the Word for Jack will also be held on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Father John Schmitz will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
