John W. Jennings, age 66, of Pickett, WI, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 1957, as a result of an automobile accident.
John was born March 15, 1891, in the Town of Utica, WI, the son of John and Eliza (Washburn) Jennings. He graduated from Ripon High School and attended University of WI. John worked as a farmer and was a member of the American Legion Mattox-Henslin Post #378 of Brandon and Fairwater.
Survivors include four daughters, five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Will Parks of Pickett with whom he had been residing and two brothers, Harrison of Waupun and Edwin of Colorado Springs, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Friends may call on Monday, April 8, 1957, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for John will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 1957, at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerry Moede officiating. Interment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica.
