John Kutz

John M. Kutz, age 55, of Princeton, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at his home in Princeton with his family by his side.

John was born August 29, 1956, in Berlin, WI, the son of Delbert and Irene (Schliepp) Kutz. He graduated from Princeton High School and was self-employed in farming and transportation. On November 16, 1974, John married Bernice O’Brien at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Princeton where he was a member. The two owned and operated their family farm in Green Lake County for the entirety of their marriage. John was a fixture in the local farming community and his passion for agriculture, family and friends endeared him to all of his peers. He was a steward of the land and relied on his faith in God and the life lessons only a farmer can appreciate to guide him on his short journey through life.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice of 37 years of Princeton, WI; two sons, Matthew Kutz of Mobile, AL and Justin Kutz of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Mary Caitlyn Williams of Mobile, AL and Susan, Sierra and Cayden Kutz all of Austin, TX; mother, Irene Kutz of Green Lake, WI; four brothers, Alan (Peggy) Kutz of Markesan, WI, Bill Kutz of West Bend, WI, Steven (Irene B.) Kutz of Princeton, WI and Dennis Kutz of Princeton, WI. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. John was preceded in death by his father, Delbert.

Visitation for John Kutz will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012, from 9 – 12:00 pm at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 226 S. Clinton St., Princeton, WI 54968.

Memorial service for John Kutz will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at 12:00 pm at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Princeton. Reverend Daniel Heiderich will officiate. A memorial is being established.
