John A. Lambert, age 81, of Hartford, WI, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 1955, at the University Hospital in Madison.
John was born October 10, 1873, in Ripon, WI, the son of Peter and Henrietta (Miller) Lambert. He attended Ripon Public Schools and on April 8, 1903, he married Evelyn Safford in Menomonee, MI. John worked for Kissel Motors, Speed Queen Corp and Ripon College and was a fire fighter for Ripon Fire Department.
Survivors include three sons, Burtrum and Donald of Hartford and Jack of Milwaukee; two brothers, Robert of Quincy, WA and William of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his wife, two sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call on Friday, February 18, 1956, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for John will be held on Saturday, February 19, 1956, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend Victor Rhien officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
