John E. Meyerholtz, age 78, of Wasilla, AK (formerly of rural Green Lake) passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 1987 in Alaska.
John was born on March 19, 1909 in rural Ripon, the son of Henry and Louise (Schultz) Meyerholtz. He was educated in Ripon and has resided in Ripon and Green Lake. John farmed all of his life, and after retirement moved to Alaska.
John is survived by a brother, Henry W. Meyerholtz of Fremont, WI; a sister, Mabel Meyerholtz of Ripon; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louise; and a sister, Luella M. Davis.
Visitation for John will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 12, 1987 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI.
Funeral Services for John will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 12, 1987 at the funeral home, with Reverend Robert LeCount officiating. Interment will follow at Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn, WI.
