John W. Norton III, 88, formerly of Green Lake, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2008, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
John was born on December 17 , 1919, the son of John W. and Elda (Marsh) Norton Sr. in Green Lake. He attended Green Lake High School, and on November 27, 1956 he married Isabelle Zielke. John servced his country in the US Army, and was a fishing guide on Big Green Lake for 65 plus years.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins. John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, and three sisters.
Visitation for John W. Norton III will be held from 10-11:00 am on Monday, July 21, 2008, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for John W. Norton III will be at 11:00 am on Monday, July 21, 2008, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Interment will follow in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
