John Ouellette Sr.

June 2, 1930 — April 5, 2010

John Ouellette Sr., age 79, of Marquette, WI, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI.

John was born on June 2, 1930, in Beverly, MA, the son of Leo and Marion (Bryson) Ouellette. He graduated from St. John Prep High School in Massachusetts. John served our country in the US Navy and graduated from Merrimac College. On August 14, 1967, John married Barbara Heydon. He worked as an accounting clerk for Heidel House Resort & Spa in Green Lake for 25 years. John was the current Village President of Marquette and a member of Holy Family Parish of Markesan.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathleen (Edmund) Mansueto of Ripon, WI, Judith (Michael) Cramer of Massachusetts, and Rosemary Ouellette of Massachusetts; two sons, Mark (Sharon) Ouellette of Beverly, MA and John (Caroline) Ouellette Jr. of Florida; grandchildren, John and David Callen, Joseph and Avery Mansueto, Sara, Daniel, and Christopher (Margaret) Ouellette, Peter, Jennifer, Margaret Cramer and Gina, Lauren, Donald, Nick, Jeffrey Ouellette; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Anthony Ouellette. John was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Visitation for John Ouellette will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, from 9 – 10:30 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral Service for John Ouellette will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at 10:30 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in the Village of Marquette. A memorial is being established in John’s name.
