John A. Schmidt, age 87, of Ripon, WI, passed away on July 31, 1986, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
John was born December 14, 1898, in Ripon, WI, the son of Johannes and Fredericha (Witt) Schmidt. He worked as a farmer. John was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include three nieces, Irene Sicklinger of Marathon, WI, Margaret Schmidt of Fond du Lac, WI and Gladys Coffman of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Visitation for John will be held on Friday, August 1, 1986, from 5 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for John will be held on Saturday, August 2, 1986, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Arlin Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
