John A. Schneckenberg, age 95, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2003 at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
John was born December 28, 1907, in Green Lake, a son to Paul and Rosalia (Diedrick) Schneckenberg. He married Margaret Leona Jahns on November 5, 1935 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon. John lived in Ripon most of his life and was employed at Speed Queen for 42 years.
Survivors include one daughter; Roselyn (Ralph) Perry of Green Bay and one son; David (Carollyn) Schneckenberg of Pewaukee. Four grandchildren; Sean Perry, Lisa Ann Nero, Paul Schneckenberg and Kristine Bachmann, and great-granchildren; Adam DuPont, Matthew Schneckenberg, and Canyon and Stella Perry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Margaret, who passed away March 2, 1997. Also two brothers, Frank and Max Schneckenberg, and three sisters, Anna Karpinski, Mary Ottoway and Clara Westphal.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. with Father Robert A. Fictum officiating. Interment will be at St. Patricks Cemetery, Town of Ripon. A memorial has been established.
