Jon A. McConnell Sr, 65, of Green Lake, Town of Brooklyn, died February 14, 1996, at University Hospital, Madison.
Jon was born July 2, 1930, in Green Lake, the son of the late William and Lucille (Anderson) McConnell. He graduated from Green Lake High School. On August 18, 1951 he married Crystal Fahrenkampf; they made their home in the Green Lake area where Jon lived all his life. He served Green Lake as a heating and electrical contractor.
Mr. McConnell is survived by his wife, Crystal; three sons, Jon Jr (Gail) of Green Lake, Gary (Cathy) of Green Lake, Jim (Sue) of Ripon; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Roanne Klaver of Green Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Funeral services for Jon McConnell Sr. will be held on Saturday, February 17, 1996, at 2:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. The Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow will officiate and burial will follow in the Bluffton Cemetery in the Town of Brooklyn.
