Joseph B. Chier, age 64, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Monday, June 3, 1957, at his home.
Joseph was born August 4, 1892, in Berlin, WI. He lived in Berlin and most of his life Green Lake. On November 9, 1921, Joseph married Eleanor Paul. He was a member of the Green Lake American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; one daughter, Mrs. Leonard Wallner of Green Lake; five sisters, Mrs. Henry Tubach of Newport Beach, CA, Mrs. Jean Herrick of Riverside, IL, Mrs. Tom Spott of Markesan, Mrs. Betty Van Buren of Markesan and Miss Ellenor Chier of Evanston, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Louis.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 5, 1957, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph will be held on Thursday, June 6, 1957, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon with The Reverend Joseph Platta officiating. Interment will take place at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
