Joseph Hoffman

Joseph T. Hoffman, age 79 of Ripon, WI, passed away on June 11, 1993, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born on March 2, 1914 in Marshfield, WI, the son of Walter and Ethel (Hitchcock) Hoffman. Joe has lived in Ripon most of his life and for many years has been a custodian at Central Elementary School in Ripon. On January 23, 1953 he married Ester Weiss. Joe was a past World War II Army Veteran and member of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Ripon and of the Christian Service Sunday School Class.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Karen (Terry) Smith of Ripon, and one granddaughter, Carmen of Ripon, one brother, Henry and one sister, Roselyn (Elton) Wetzel both of Ripon.
Services for Mr. Hoffman will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 1993 at Immanuel United Methodist Church. The Reverend Howard Ott will officiate and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 14, 1993 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
