Joseph John Malecki, 51, of Green Lake, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at his home in Green Lake.
Joe was born in Harvey, IL, on May 19, 1957, the son of Joseph James and Charlotte (Moss) Malecki. He graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School, Flossmoor, IL, and went on to graduate from Western Illinois University. Joe was a film editor and was in the process of preparing to go to edit film at the Summer Olympics Games in China. He was a member of the Green Lake Rotary Club, and the Shorewood Home Owners Association of Green Lake.
Survivors include his daughter, Sanna Sophia Malecki of Libertyville, IL; Sanna’s mother, Anne Malecki; step-son, Matthew Santullano of Libertyville, IL; one sister, Susan (Robert) Villa of Dyer, IN; and one Niece, Kristin Villa of Dyer, IN. Joe was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Joseph John Malecki will be held from 1-2:30 pm, on Sunday, August 3, 2008, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI. 1-920-748-2623
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 pm, on Sunday, August 3, 2008, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with The Reverend Dr. Willard Blomquist officiating. Memorial can be given to the Green Lake Rotary Foundation, P.O. 95, Green Lake, WI 54941.
