Joseph Matejovsky, age 88, of Green Lake, passed away on October 8, 1987 at Ripon Medical Hospital.
Joseph was born on June 5, 1899, in Chicago, IL, the son of Benjamin and Frances (Zigmund) Matejovsky. He married Rose Smrz on June 22, 1922, in IL. Joseph was a truck driver for 42 years for Vienna Fisher Cleaners & Dryers in Chicago, IL. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Downers Grove, past Boy Scout leader and Catholic order of Foresters.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; daughter, Carmen Vespo of Green Lake; grandchildren, Michael Vespo of Green Lake, and Anne Vespo-Mueller of Downers Grove, IL; great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Joseph Vespo of Union Center, WI. Joseph is preceded in death by his two sisters and brother.
Funeral Service for Joseph will be held at 1:00 pm, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, in Green Lake, on Saturday, October 10, 1987, with Reverend Leo Joyce officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake, WI.
