Joseph E. Wilson, 45, of Green Lake died Sat. Sept. 7, 1996, at Ripon Medical Center.
He was born on Dec. 17, 1950, in Phelps, WI the son of Joseph and Ramona (King) Wilson. After graduating from Ripon High School he attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He worked for Mills Fleet Farm in Oshkosh for the past three years as the outside lot Dept. Head. Joe has resided in the Green Lake area for nineteen years. On Aug. 25, l973, at St. Wenceslaus Church in Ripon, he married Martha “Marty” Zimmerman. Joe was a member of the Ottawa Tribe, Grand River Band.
Survivors include his wife Marty, and one son Brian, two
Sisters, Julia Wilson of Jefferson, WI, Elizabeth Brock of Jefferson, WI, four brothers; James Wilson of Lithia Sprinqs, GA, Brian Wilson of Jefferson, WI, Gerald Wilson of Black River Falls, WI, Donald Wilson of Maplewood, MN; his father Joseph Wilson Sr.; and one Uncle, Bill (Betty) Langner. He was preceded in death by his mother Romana Benson.
Funeral services for Joseph will be held on Monday Sept. 9, 1996, at 4:00 P.M. at the Butzin—Marchant funeral Home with the Rev. William L. Toelle officiating. Friends may call Monday Sept. 9th form 1:30 P.M. until the time of service at the Butzin—Marchant Funeral Home.
