Josephine Brink, age 89, of Ripon, WI, died Friday, August 16, 1996, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon where she had resided the past ten days.
She was born October 29, 1906, in Waupun, the daughter of Henry and Jennie Willemsen Hendricks. She attended school in Waupun, on October 23, 1924, she married James E. Brink. They made their home in Waupun before moving to Fond du Lac in 1935. In 1943, they moved to Ripon where they farmed and had the Brink Upholstery Business. Mr. Brink passed away on October 14, 1979. Josephine was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon and belonged to the Friendship Circle of the church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Betty Kuehn; three sons, Ronald (Vernice) Brink, Stanley (Carolyn) Brink and David (Joyce) Brink all of Ripon; one brother, Marvin (Phyllis) Hendricks of Waupun; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Donald; one granddaughter, Jodi; five brothers and one sister.
Funeral services for Josephine Brink will be Monday, August 19, 1996, at 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon with the Reverends, David Busker, Ray Steger and Donald Deike officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 until 8 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again on Monday 10 am until the time of the service. A memorial has been established in her name.
