Mrs. Josephine T. Coss, 86, of 50 Wolverton Avenue, Ripon, died Friday, December 29, 1989, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
She was born October 14, 1903, in Mendota, IL to Daniel C. and Josephine Scott Tower.
She graduated from high school in Mendota, IL and attended Chicago Teacher’s College. She was a bookkeeper for the H.D. Hume Company and for 10 years had been an advisor to the Jr Womens Club of Mendota. She had resided in Ripon, WI since 1977.
Survivors include 1 daughter, Mrs. John J. (Barbara) Arnold of Ripon; 3 grandchildren, Geoffrey of Eagle River, WI, Joan Karsten of Worcester, MA, and Jackie Plagenz of Dalton, WI and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Coss will be held Wednesday, January 3, 1990, at 1:30 P.M., at the Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota, IL. The Reverend Thomas Barnes will officiate. Interment will follow in the Restland Cemetery in Mendota.
Friends may call from 1 P.M. until the time of services at the Merritt Funeral Home.
