Joshua C. Steggall, 19, of Ripon formerly of Oelwein, Iowa, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Ripon Medical Center.
He was born October 3, 1980, in Independence, Iowa, the son of Hillary and Jean Schuety Steggall. Joshua was a 1999 graduated of Ripon High School, member of Student Council and Young Life. He was a former student of UW-Oshkosh and the Concert Choir. He loved music, art, theatre, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He cherished life, lived every moment and touched many lives. Joshua was employed at Roadhouse Pizza in Ripon, Fine Details in Watertown and Chartwells at UW-Oshkosh.
His survivors include his parents; two brothers, Michael (Karen) Steggall of Watertown and Derick (Shannon) Steggall of Ripon; sister, Melissa (Paul) Steggall Braun of Waterloo, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his special friends and their families.
Funeral Service for Joshua C. Steggall will be Thursday, July 6, 2000, at 2 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon with Reverend Bryan Fritsch officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5 from 4 until 8 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again on Thursday, from 1 until 2 pm at the church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established in his name.
